Description

The mural is spread across three façades of the Gaztetxe of Zigoitia, each with its own theme.
Façade of the community centre — the Mairuelegorreta cave and the festival: sword dance, map of the cave, a line inspired by the association's logo (evoking the entrance of the cave), posters of local festivals, and a phrase in Basque.
Long façade, next to the door — nature and the vegetable garden: the number "17" in reference to the seventeen villages of the municipality, the name Zigoitia, a basket of garden produce, and animals from the surroundings.
Façade facing the road — the passing of generations: a tribute to the importance of the elderly and of childhood, and to the energy that young people and children have brought to the village. It includes a dantzaris skirt, the image of an elderly person playing with a child, and contemporary cultural activities.
Joining the three façades, pop-style images of the trees most representative of the area — zizkiño, sarragoa, and chestnut — accompanied by a graphic line that gives sense to the whole composition.
