Description
Muralism as a tool to bring towns together and shorten distances.
San Millán is a beautiful country with many small towns scattered over the plain of Alava. Many towns people from these different villages came to help design and paint this mural in Ordoñana, a tribute to the county´s sports and culture. Huge "abarcas", the traditional basque footwear hand by their laces from a hook take the visitor by surprise. The lower part is covered by the traditional weave of the region. Within the squares we fin hidden details of rural life and the contributions of some of the youngest participants.
