Brenan Duarte is co-founder of the IMVG, a multidisciplinary artist, and an independent cultural manager. In 2007, together with Christina Werckmeister and Verónica Werckmeister, he co-founded the Vitoria-Gasteiz Mural Itinerary.
His artistic training spans painting, printmaking, and sculpture, as well as more technological media including photography, video, and electroacoustic music. He has participated in numerous seminars and symposia on art, giving lectures and running courses on art and culture. His work is held in collections both nationally and internationally, and he has received multiple awards and grants across different artistic disciplines. He has also contributed graphically and in writing to various publications in the field.
Since 1996, he has shown his work in group and solo exhibitions in cities and countries around the world. In parallel with his artistic practice, since 1998 he has managed various cultural projects, and in 2007 he founded the company kubo7estudio, from which he develops his ideas and projects.
